8/29/2018 8:15:55 PMI've been fishing Cassidy for over 50 years. I can't believe how many people fish there now. I used to have it to myself or maybe one other boat on a weeknight. Lately I've been shocked to see the parking lot near full and boats all over. I just think it's over fished and unfortunately not as much catch and release as the old days.

8/30/2018 12:03:21 PMI see more kayaks there some fishing and some for a paddle...usually 2-3 boats there in evenings and someone parked in boat launch just to look at the lake...

8/30/2018 12:38:08 PMI think the last time I fished Cassidy was back on October 1, 1983. Fishing was pretty good at that time and my best bass was 19 inches, 4 pounds and 2 ounces. That fish hit a white spinnerbait at the far end of the lake. Pic on info page on this site.

8/30/2018 4:47:01 PMYou beat my best by .50" I got 18.5" and 18" couple years ago on back to back weds evenings one on top water minnow barely moving it and other on buzzbait at end of pads...he was lying in wait for it.
