Had a 4 day fishing adventure at this beautiful lake on the base of Mt Adam's. I was extremely successful all of the days out on the lake. I caught a total of 43 fish in the 4 days there, successfully releasing all but one. I was fly fishing from a float tube using everything from the typical olive woolly bugger and parachute adams to a bumble bee fly. When it was dead calm I would throw my dry flies and get a hit every 10th cast. When the wind picked up I would throw on my weighted line with a woolly bugger on the end. I would highly recomend fly fishing this lake. I talked to quite a few other people fishing and they were having very little luck with the standard method of trolling with spinning gear.
Ps my largest fish was 4lbs 20.5 inches. That was the only fish that I ended up keeping. Made a great dinner.
