After fishing Kokanee on Deep Lake, we put in at Coulee City Park and headed across the lake. We trolled in 18-35 F.O.W. using bottom bouncers and slow death hooks and other home made spinners and planer boards. We managed to get one 18" walleye and a trout. Fishing was extremely slow, so after 2 hours of fishing, we decided we had enough of the thick smoke and slow fishing and headed back home. Didn't see anybody else catch anything, but we were only on the water for 2 hours, maybe next time.

You had a very average catch rate for Banks Lake these days. We spent the last two days fishing bottom walker gear and then changing over to pulling plugs each day, in two days we caught eight walleye and c/r about 60 bass. This lake has been going down hill for the past couple years. I personally blame over fishing but it could be there is a new food source that they are eating and they just don't want anything else.

I agree with you, I think is is over fished. Moses Lake is just as bad.
