For this report i was fishing on a charter out of westport. We don't get to keep rockfish here in the Puget sound as was invited by my boss to tag along and try the rockfish/salmon combo. In total we hooked about 90 rockfish and roughly about 20 salmon with most being wild coho that had to be released. I hooked 2 coho only able to keep one and my boss caught a Chinook. The boat was only able to keep 7 out of all the salmon we hooked but hey that's fishing for you. The captain and deckhand worked hard for every fish we caught and although most salmon had to be released we had a great time out there.
