Hiked up to beautiful lake Minotaur but not only did I get skunked, but the mosquitoes ate me alive. I've got at least 50 bites on my hands even though they were covered with deet. I tried black and green wooly buggers, spoons and spinners from the West side of the lake. One guy landed to trout on the East side but there were too many trees there to fly cast. Saw a few risers, but not a lot of action. Maybe it was the deet scent on the hooks that kept them away (although I did try my best to keep the fingers clean that were handling hooks).
