On the water around 0530 anchored and fishing by 6. Bite didnt really start till around 730 or 8. (As soon as the sun was up and got some heat). Jigging off the side of the boat with a lure and worm, bite was pretty consistent till about 1030 basically when the temps got really warm. Buddy and I caught easily 40 to 50 fish mainly perch, pumpkin seeds and a couple catfish. Took home 16 very nice keeper perch ranging from 8" to 11". Very happy with the haul. Would have done better if we stuck to our hot spot. Curiosity got the best of us.

Nice haul.....I was told to never leave the place where you are catching fish to find other fish. We are all guilty of it.

I know I wont bail on a spot unless it stops producing from this point forward. We were doing really well there for a bit
