Got to the Lake around 2:30 and there was a big tide change at 3. I know lakes don'y have tides, but I find that the bite is often synched especially when targeting Kokanee. Right off the bat I got 4 pencil thin cutthroat :-( These fish do not seem to be thriving in this lake. They were 12-13 inches but so very skinny they were not worth keeping. Fished and swam the whole afternoon away, it was 84ยบ so what better way to beat the heat. Started to catch fish again after 7, and hooked a couple more poor cutties, kept one. Finally at dusk I picked up 2 very fat 13" Kokanee! Used 50-50 Godstooth with corn about 28 feet and a pink squid with dodger at 40' Both were getting hits. I love this lake, it's clean and in a beautiful place. The boat launch is getting difficult, the jet skiers power on to their trailers and have caused a huge hole and high ridge, so be careful about lowering your motor too soon. Hopefully somebody will have better luck with Kokes, they are beautiful!
