I was the first boat at the launch. Early bird gets the worm they say. By the time I was heading out, 2 more rigs showed up.

Didnt find any big fish today. Caught about 10-12 SMB. Didnt keep track as well since there wasnt any worthy bass. 10 on dropshot. 2 on crank. Half about those 1-1.5# range. Rest smaller. 1 very small, about same size are lure. Clear skies, and felt pretty good, not too hot in the morning.

Since no bass was picture worth, you get this heron on someone's floating mat. I saw it from a distance and creep up on it, watching it. It kept walking around the edge looking into the water ready to strike.
