Well I have not been able to report as much as I would have liked, because I have been on the water every day the last few weeks. We have been targeting walleye and oversize sturgeon and the fishing has been great. Most of our walleye are coming on worm harnesses with gold and silver beads/blades. On windy days, we have been pulling Flicker Minnows in the 11 size upstream in 18-25 foot of water. We are noticing a few less fish being caught this summer, but overall our size is way better than last year! Lots of fish in the 18-22 inch range with many over 22. We have also been able to do some oversize sturgeon fishing! We are catching fish from 6-11 foot daily, mostly using shad pieces occasionally and squid. I always stress if you decide to go after oversize sturgeon, respect the fish and use heavy enough gear, to land those fish and release them within 20 minutes. These are a great resource for our rivers and I hate to see these big fish stressed and hurt because of fighting them too long and over exhausting them.
