slow is the word.. ohhh.. don't forget the wind..
headed out Friday morning around 8am from coulee city.. weather report was wind was spose to pick up as the day went on. fished all the "hot spots" I know of with just a little luck.. trolling spinners.. jigging.. weaving in and out of 12-40+ FOW .. weeds are getting thicker now around 14 FOW . caught a few dinks and just 2 keepers by 2 o'clock when that pesky wind started to blow 30-35 MPH I would guess.. it was damn rough so off to the hotel for a nap.. dinner. and a good nights sleep. a couple other boats were there as well.. both with the same story.. very slow for banks. Saturday morning wind had eased. out of the south again and the bite was just as slow.. picking up but 3 keepers by 4 pm .not sure if it has much to do with it.. but seems when the wind is from the south which it doesn't seem to be often there .. fishing is slow.. was still better than working =)
