I wish this boat launch didn't have the huge rocks around it! Makes launching something that's not on a trailer a bit of a pain. First time on this lake too and it sure looks good! I was surprised at the amount of high speed boat traffic for such a small body of water but everyone seemed to be courteous. I lost one about two pounds on my third cast! Could have made a cast and hit the launch still as I had just started. I thought here we go! Nope. Spent the next couple hours trying to catch something over a half pound. The wind pushed me about three quarters of the way down the lake on the left side from the launch. I cut across and sporadically fished my way back to the launch weaving in and out of other anglers and boaters. I flipped pads, docks and laydowns. Threw Senkos, jigs, cranks, spinnerbaits and jerkbaits along the weed edges and pad edges. Just wasn't happening. Since I was in the area and there a so many lakes nearby I opted to check out one more before heading home. Left and headed for Ohop.

I agree the WDFW sure did not improve some launches with all those big rocks - Long Lake here in Kitsap is a good example. Almost impossible to launch a hand carried water craft without using the busy ramp area. I also launched my Bass Tracker onto Tanwax a couple times and caught lots of small largemouth - the biggest a 17 1/4 incher.

I found two I could fit between on the way out and it was a bit easier. The launch aspect was terrible as the top of the ramp is level so it's a steep drop from the tailgate!
