Well I have had a busy week with trips every day this week! The walleye fishing in the John Day Pool remains great! We have been averaging 20-40 walleye a day with opportunities for twice that many! Each day the water has been fluctuating a lot and having the experience to know where to be in certain flow conditions has kept us in the game and action each day while others are struggling! Most of our action is coming on worm harnesses, but we have started plug fishing a bit more and we have been finding some nicer fish with that! We are also shad fishing! Action is non-stop! If you want crab bait, or just a great time catching, these shad trips are a kick! We should have another week or two of great shad fishing! I do evening trips for these, so get in touch and we can get you out! I still have 4 seats for July 2 and 6th for great walleye action if you would like to join! Give me a call and we can get you set up! Tight Lines, Jake Munden

Nice! Do you generally (not specific to this post) launch out of Crow Butte, or "other?" We've used that launch, and a couple of others in the past. Anyway, nice catches.

And part of the reason I said not this one is this one is obvious. I have a friend that is interested, and wanted to plan travel, at a time when I'm not available to take the boat.
