We fished below John day dam today. Walleye fishing was very consistent. We landed a dozen fish in 4 hours. They were good healthy fish all in the 18 to 23 inch range. We consintrated on trolling dark colors such as black beads, motor oil smile blades, purple hoochies and worms were best. We soaked the baits in the Graybills craw/anise scent. The fish seem to be fairly tight to the banks in less than 20ft of water. We made sure to stay tight to the bottom with 3oz bottom walkers. The post spawn bite is going good and we have some available in June.
