Well the Tin Guppy finally made it back to the water. Just wasn't home enough in April and May to manage a trip to The Lake. Had a slow start for 2018 but made up for it on Wednesday. We launched out of Ft. Spokane around 8 AM with a bunch of other folks and wound up have a really fun day on the water. The first 2 places we tried didn't really work out for us so we kept going up river and on our 3rd stop we picked up a nice eye in about 50ft of water so we kept working that area and wound up spending the rest of the day there. We were running chartreuse colored spinners on bottom walkers and finally found a spot that gave us some pretty steady action throughout the day in 10-15 FOW. I wouldn't ever say it was really hot fishing, just steady. It was the best day I have had for Walleye not using jigs . We found 29 keepers + 5 nice smallies and 2 really decent rainbows. To top it off we didn't break anything or fall in so I am coloring in a big win.

Wow—-a chain stringer. That is practically an antique! Nice to see one full.

Thanks for mentioning the chartreuse smile blades cause I noticed they wanted that color now instead of orange-black or pink-black. Funny how they switch. Walleyes are always moving or changing things- especially depth.

Are we talking a 16ft Hewescraft Sea Runner? I sure like mine, pretty darn roomy for a 16 footer says I.
