Had A real fun day just
Grabbed the Canoe and went out with a friend. We Launched at Seward Park at about 9:00 am. Paddled past the boats moored for the evening (Andrews Bay I think). Most were just waking up.
We tossed a few casts out near that first dock past the kiddy park with no luck.
We then floated out past Andrews Bay and out to the first "No wake" bouy about 100 ft from shore, we wanted to go farther out, but a couple wake boarding boats kept us close to shore, within 10 minutes I got a decent size 14" Small mouth Bass but let it go after a snap shot of it
the rest of the day was nothing but tons of perch, fishing a couple feet from the bottom, we had nothing but fish on for 3 hours, and some were good fights.
kept 5 Perch from 11"-13". Had a great day but at around 1pm the sport and pleasure boats came out in force and pretty much ran us out. We were taking wakes from multiple angles. we fought the wind and paddled back. All In All a great and fun day.
(that spot is next to a rest room on the jogging trail)

Enjoy
