Spent Friday on Moses lake with Bob Loomis from mack' s lures and Rob and Hillary Holman from Northwest Fishing Reports. It was a great time with great people. The morning started a little slow. We picked up some walleye in that 9'to 10' range. It was slow one fish a pass. I think the water dropping a few degrees and changed this from the past trips. The next spot we found them little deeper and very willing to play. That 10 to 18' was where the action started. We had Doubles . It was fast a fouious. The last pass we had 5 out of the 6 rods HOOK UP! The fish today where on the smaller side. We caught them from 13 1/2 to 15 on average. A couple of our big fish were in the 20 " range. All fish were caught on slow death hooks with a smile blade. Or 2 hook worm harness. 1 ounce bottom walkers and a 3 to 4' leader. Trolling speed was from .9 to 1.4. Color didn't seem to matter today. Make sure you are close to the bottom. There are fish from one end of the lake to the other. Don't think you have to fish where every one else goes. You will find random pocket all of the place this year. If you havnt used smile blades or all the other gear Mack's Lures sales. You better take a look. Great product for a wide range of fishing applications. If you want to get out with me this year for walleye or kokanee. I only have a few days left in June for 2018.
