My brother and I just returned from a 3 day trip to Potholes and I have to say it was our best trip there. We fished the Crab Creek arm exclusively and boated over 40 LMB up to a few 4+ lbers. Amazingly, all but one of these fish appeared to be pre-spawn. We caught fish on almost everything we threw but the majority were taken on 6" black lizards and 5" wacky rigged Senkos. The water temps were in the low 70's and the weather couldn't have been more ideal.
We are both getting up in age and we agreed this is probably our last overnighter, so if that is the case.....it was a great one to end on.

Tight lines to all!

Sounds like a great trip Too Boo. When I was a young guy like you and your brother I fished the Potholes, Scootney and Banks a lot but those days are now just pleasant memories. I even fished it once with my brother who lives in Oregon. We had a good day too but our catching paled in comparison. Now, at almost 89, I just don't have the confidence to tow a bass boat over the mountains anymore. Keep fishing as long as you can.
