Going to keep this lake on the Q.T. for awhile, just because I'm having so much fun. However, will tell you this is a Snohomish County lake, with a marked public access. Been fishing for the planted rainbows from my float tube. Fishing has been terrific, best "post opening day" fishing I've ever had. Fished this lake three times in the past 2-weeks, and it's been great every time. Been working various colors of woolly buggers, and it doesn't seem to matter if they're olive, black, brown, or white, they all seem to work equally well. A slow hand-twist seems to be the ticket on a sink tip line. My only complaint is that the plants in this lake seem to run pretty small. Got a couple of fish to around 13", but the vast majority seems to be in that 10-12" range. However, they're all fun, average a dozen or so per hour, and everything has been released. The best part is that in 3-trips, I've only seem ONE other angler (and he was fishing bass). Fishing only week days which probably helps, but what can i say, it's been a blast.
