I come down to the Wanapum and priest rapids dam for the new season for sturgeon but I haven't had no luck and I haven't seen any other boats out. Anybody else got some pointers? One of the best trips we've had for a while, always love the family time. Really nice views but fish would make it perfect a fun trip anyway tight lines

It's always nice to fish with family and create good memories. I have never caught a sturgeon or tried it.

How is the water there. Is it to high to fish? is there a lot of weeds and logs in the water?

The water was a little low And quite a bit of sticks and stuff floating but It never bothered the fishing

Fished lake wanapum Saturday, we only caught one fish that was 78 inches. Had other bites but no takers.
