first time poster here -- stepped out onto a friend's dock after a dinner party and messed around for a little under an hour...caught about a dozen fish or so with two smallies, one ~11 (pictured) and a nicer one ~14" with the rest being aggressive little rock bass, with size ranging from about the same size as my spinnerbait (pictured) to one that was 10"+ and made me think it was even bigger...overall not bad for first casts of the year...bass should be moving in to spawn soon.

Thanks for the encouragement. I tried near Seward Park. It was the afternoon and there was lots of human activity but no fish activity for me!

with the weather warming up, your chances are much better in the mornings before noon or later in the evening after 6pm, especially if you are fishing from shore.

Thanks for posting. I have been trying this year without luck. Also fishing off a dock, my father in laws. Where on the lake were you? His house is just north of Oh Denny Park. Same side. Maybe this heat is turning them on?
