Spent a few days at lake Chelan fished from around 5 am to 10 am first day caught 2 Kokanee with a couple of missed ones. Second day caught 1 Kokanee with no other bites for that day. 3rd day no fish no bites 4th day a few bites but no fish. The 5th day I decided to try for some cutthroat or rainbows and I ended up limiting on cutthroat trout pretty fast. I went home on the 5th day. A lot of RVs at the state park and a lot of boats on the water talked to as many boater fishermen as I could and no one was having much luck or any luck at all. Only a couple charters we're doing some what good but they said they had to work really hard for them. My camping neighbor had him and another person in his boat he was out there from 5am to 4 pm catching 3 to 5 Kokanee between him and his partner a day. He was out there a really long time for such a very small amount of fish. I was using all rockie mountain tackle 12 to 18 inches from dodger. Trolling 1mph to 2 mph. If you want to catch fish on lake Chelan I would also try for trout at least you would catch something. Good luck to all you guys out there I hope it gets better. Last year on Chelan was a slam dunk. This year very slow.
