We have been fishing the Columbia Gorge for Spring Chinook the past couple days. The fishing has been very consistent with plenty of action and a few limits. We have been trolling pro troll and Leo flashers with superbaits or prawn spinners behind them. We also have been doing well off of Maglip Flatfish. The best colors have been pink and green. And soaking these baits in Graybills salmon and sand shrimp scents seem to be increasing the bite. Trolling speeds have been key. We have been finding the best bite trolling at 1.4 mph. Both boats have some days open may is going to be a great time to get on some Springers!
