A friend fished the north end yesterday and did very well. There were a lot of boats and he witnessed some boat rage. The normal trio headed to the south end and we saw only a few boats all morning. Fishing was fantastic with the fish taking any color of worm harness offered. We landed and released over 40 fish. The eyes mostly were 14-16” with the largest 20”. A couple smallies and bullheads rounded out the catch. We found fish in 7-10 FOW, speed 1.0-1.4 mph. Water temp61-65*. Beautiful weather made for another great day on the water with great friends.

Shouldn't the man holding the walleye be smiling? Lots of boats eh? Been down to Potholes lately? I'm not sure you could fit your hand between the boats at Lind Coulee last week.

Is Potholes "on" too right now? We were planning on hitting Banks tomorrow, but it sounds like we should either hit Potholes or Moses instead.

How do the fish taste? We caught a few out of there last season this time of year and they had a really strong muddy off flavor.

Potholes has two bass tournaments and one walleye tournament this weekend. You won't be alone there.

Thanks! Sounds like I might be better off hitting Banks or Moses then. I've never fished Moses, any advice on where to launch? I have a new 20' boat and would like to find a decent place to put in at.

I've only launched at Blue Heron park. I don't live near there, so that is all I know. It is a decent launch, but maybe there are others?
You can go to WDFW's tournament schedule to find out what is going on a particular lake.
