Spent my last evening in Chelan giving Antilon one last go. The wind was pretty strong so I was pretty much confined to a small area to fish which was the North end which is the launch area. I ventured into the other North end fork but it was so much more work rowing and if I got a fIsh on I would drift quite aways South.
I ended up with 11 fish in about 3 Hours plus one Crappie! My last fish at this lake was a Crappie out of the 85 Browns that I caught. You would have thought that I would have caught a Crappie earlier as ai fished the same areas.
Fun lake and easy to get strikes, but much harder to land them the way that I fished the lake. One can also catch them from the bank so if your in Chelan and have a hankering for some Browns, head on up and take the “A” entrance and fish from the big rock structure below the parking area. I did well trolling this area from there till the launch area which you will also see from this entrance.
