Took my wife up to Pine to get her on some fish. We launched about 1:30. Weather was a little cool and breezy compared to yesterday. I set her up with the nickel/chartreuse spoon I was doing well on yesterday and immediately off the launch she hooked her first before I even got a line in the water. I tried a bead head wooly bugger again, but after my wife's second fish and multiple hits later while I'd only had one little bump I swapped out to a fire tiger flat fish. Sure enough, started getting hits and hooked my first not long after. From then on it was fairly consistent with maybe a fish to the boat each every 15 minutes or so with many lost. Found a calm area later in the afternoon and stopped to toss some TMs. Had a good time doing that until we needed to go, so trolled back to the launch and hooked a couple more fish each on the way. Probably c&r'd about 20 fish each between 1:30 and 5p. However, my wife still caught more fish than I did overall. Typical. :)
