Endured the rain Saturday morning and hit the lake at about 5:45am, went left out from the boat launch and about 3rd cast got a 2.5er on a swimbait. Went past the public dock and out around the grass hump, picked up a small one with a jig, then nothing for about a half an hour. Got around the lake to the reeds, got a little bored not catching anything so I threw on a weightless 7" senko to mess around, second cast, hooked into a fish, lost that one, but about five casts later I boated a 2 pounder, then it was on, big senkos and long worms were the lure of the day, we got a few more in the 2 pound range, 2 that were about 4 pounds and a couple small ones. Also got my buddy his first largemouth, 3.75 pounds, safe to say he's hooked
