I launched at Willow Flats Boat Launch just above Chief Joe Dam about 10 am, there were 5 or 6 trailers but not a boat in sight they must all have gone up river. One boat launched just as I left the dock. I rigged up with Mack's double whammy's, with a night crawler on one hook and power bait on the other and on the other pole just a night crawler on both hooks and let out 3 or 4 colors on my leaded line and cruised the shoreline and over to the can line and around in that area never really going past the can line. I picked up several nice bites but nothing to the boat. It was a beautiful day to get the boat out for the first time. All in all, it was a pleasant trip. The other fisherman that launched when I did trolled along the shoreline up river a ways and when he came back told me he had 2 silvers! They are dumping a bunch of water over the dam perhaps that could be a reason for the slow bite.

We fished the same area on Thursday for more than 3 hours & got only one good hit. At that time, there was hardly any current at all. They were not spilling any water at all over the dam. I've heard that the flow plays a big part on the action.
