I launched at Willow Flats Boat Launch just above Chief Joe Dam about 10 am, there were 5 or 6 trailers but not a boat in sight they must all have gone up river. One boat launched just as I left the dock. I rigged up with Mack's double whammy's, with a night crawler on one hook and power bait on the other and on the other pole just a night crawler on both hooks and let out 3 or 4 colors on my leaded line and cruised the shoreline and over to the can line and around in that area never really going past the can line. I picked up several nice bites but nothing to the boat. It was a beautiful day to get the boat out for the first time. All in all, it was a pleasant trip. The other fisherman that launched when I did trolled along the shoreline up river a ways and when he came back told me he had 2 silvers! They are dumping a bunch of water over the dam perhaps that could be a reason for the slow bite.
