A good friend of mine recently expressed that she'd like for her son to experience fishing so what better place to try than Lake Spokane! It very rarely disappoints.
Headed to the far west end of the lake around 3pm and were immediately on the fish. Using Kekeda Trolling Flies and Mack's Lure Wedding Rings, all tipped with worm, we were able to catch a few 14" trout for the frying pan. After catching enough to eat, we stopped using the worms and were able to catch and release them for another few hours.
Similar to my last report, they were all in the top 5 to 10 feet of water and could be seen top feeding around 7pm.
I put together a Top 3 locations list last night based on the reports posted to this site. They're all westside lakes, but I threw in some footage of Andy and I at Lake Spokane in the middle of the video.
Take a kid fishing!
