Was a nice day and I headed to Beaver, this time just by myself (no kids).
The water was quite bad, very choppy, there was wind and i was having a very hard time keeping the little boat under control. I only had brought stuff for bottom fishing, so it was a pain in the neck.
I ended up getting a fish after 20-25 min when the wind stopped, but then it came back, plus rain... the next 2 hours were crap, just exercising my arms, back and shoulders paddling to stay somewhere.
Another break and the wind stopped and i hooked another one. Then again, wind was back and another 1.5 hour nothing.
I then noticed a spot with lots of fish surfacing and went there. Tried a few things, and it was frustrating seeing those fish jumping all over the place around me and no bites.

I then changed my leaders and went for considerably longer ones, which seemed to have done the trick. In about 40 min I lost a couple bites and hooked 3 other fishes, reaching my limit and calling it a day.

Overall, that was a good day.
