Put in at Honeysuckle Launch around 11:30 am, as soon as we hit 100' depth we started dropping lines in the water. Trolled towards Berven Bay and along the north shore towards English Point. As time went by more boats were fishing the same area. Many of the others fishing were using downriggers, we trolled with long lines. Fish were marking between 30 and 100 ft. Used flashers and a wedding ring. By the end of the day we were lucky to land about a dozen kokanee but lost twice as many. Best part of the day happened when a man and woman in a small aluminum boat trolled by and asked us if they were trolling to fast. Suggested they should slow down and the next time we were near them they thank us for our input and said they were lucky enough to land a few fish. It was a great day to get on the water and catch some fish.
