Walleye are biting really good at Moses lake at Stratford road bridge by Walgreens. There are some good size fish to be had with some bigger 8-13 lbs in the mix. You’ll want to fish on the south side of the bridge which is where most of the fish are being caught and be there early in the evening to beat the rush, at least by 6pm. The bait of choice is up to you but the walleye are for sure biting well. “South side of the bridge” at night. Day fishing is not worth the drive from however far away you’re driving. The locals are using 3 1/2 inch hard time minnows from the brand Gitzit. Sportsman’s warehouse stores usually sell them. Trust me when I say you want to get there early evening to fish on the south side of the bridge. Don’t go over your limit.

And release the big girls so they can make more walleyes. They don’t eat that great anyway

Any idea on what colors might be working best? Greatly appreciate the report!!! I’ve tried numerous times in the past to catch walleye and literally have only ever caught one 10” and it was when I was bass fishing, lol.

Usually natural minnow colors work well but if fish are aggressive, brighter colors can also be effective, have to try everything and see what they want

Too much pressure on the fish.

50+ people =50 plus lines and bait presentations hitting the water for hours at a time. The fish will definitely shut off.

Friday was packed as well, most people spent the whole night and went home with none to one to two walleye, I fished for 5 hours and managed to land 7, its all about trying different baits and fishing a good stretch of current.
