I'm posting this report on Mayfield and then going to add a report on Riffe under that lake as well. The down and dirty for Riffe was a complete snub. Read that the Taidanampa North launch was open. It isn't. We ended up at Mayfield and the weather was true to form for this time of year. Fished from about 0800 till 1400 and threw pretty much anything that would've worked on Riffe. However, we got nadda. Take this with a grain of salt as I have yet to break the code on this lake and walk away with anything other than a cold set of hands and feet.
