They moved!

CF and I launched at Blue Heron Park and headed out a short way to the same area where the eyes were 3 days ago. The lake has risen to nearly full and consequently I think the fish moved. We had few marks and finally got our only bite of the morning. It was clearly bigger than any of last weeks fish and after a great fight I netted a 25” eye that looked 6-7 pounds. We got a quick picture and released her. We tried some shallower water toward the fill with negative results. We talked to a couple other boats who were also in search mode. Water temperature had dropped to 45*. As usual it was still a good morning on the water.
