Got to the lake around 8:00 am fished for about 4 hours no luck at all not even one bite. Stayed the night at the campground woke up hit the lake again for about an hour or two no luck again and no bites. It was cold, wet, raining, with some sunshine. Water was really cold probably too cold for the fish to wake up.

Tried fishing for some Bass too but no luck either. As I was leaving a little boy caught one rainbow from shore and in the two days I was there he was the only one who caught a fish out of about 20 to 25 people I saw at the lake in those two days.

I have looked at the stocking reports and they still have not stocked the lake. That is unusual because they stock that lake every year at the end of March.

Other than no fish I just relaxed and it was good to have a break from work.

I grew up on that lake, in the summers we used to rope swing into the lake and catch bluegill and crappie of the dock. Thank you for the report. How did the campground look?

The campground looked good nice and clean. Very pricey for not having any power or running water 18 dollars a night. I usually spend 20 to 25 a night at other places and get power and running water. and 10 to 12 dollars a night with no water or power at other campgrounds. I think 18 dollars a night is too high. But I enjoyed myself a break from work.
