6:00 PM - I arrived at the public boat launch (south end of the lake) and pushed off on my pontoon. The weather was pleasant, and the water was warm--although it looked stained (much like lake Kapowsin nearby). There were about a dozen other fishing boats on the lake.
6:30 PM - I started off paddling the pontoon (the water was calm; thus, no need to use the electric). While paddling the pontoon, I trolled a brass spinner behind the boat while moving across the lake (opposite of the boat launch). At this time, I had nearly reached the far side, but no bites.
7:00 PM I tried still fishing (using some nightcrawlers) on the far side across from the boat launch--nothing. However, I did see a couple kids catch a few fish towards the lilly pads--not sure if they were perch, trout, or bass (they didn't look too big).
8:00 PM - I returned to the boat launch after trying a little trolling (nothing). So I call it a night. I think Ohop is just too warm this time of the year.
