Very underrated Trout Lake, but you do need too know how too target them, I had noticed it received its yearly trout stocking in the last week, but I was after the holdovers that the lake seems too constantly produce if you know where too go. Most People I talk too and Know, who target trout, troll, and it does work, however I usually tie up too a stump, near my favorite spot, in about 20 feet of water, and still fish, it can be very effective and was yesterday as well as I caught a limit of 5 in an hour and half, with only one being a 12 inch recent stocked bow, the other 4 ranged from 17-22 inches and very fat, nice 2 and 3 year old carryovers. Did see a gentlemen land a 6 pound bow near me, def a Triploid from a past years stockings, fat and football shaped, when the sun came out and hit the water, the bite def picked up. While still fishing you really need too be careful of stumps as you can get hooked up real fast, and lose all your gear, same goes for trolling, need too watch out. The Lake is also a great Pan fish Lake, but usually not till Mid May as water starts too warm. Did not have problem at the Public Access, but have heard stories of Vandalism, even during the day, so no valuables, and lock up.
