I have been going to lake curlew every summer for my whole life staying at no other than tiffany's. Doug and Linn are great people who run the place, if i were to rate the resort i would give it a 5 too. The bass fishing was exremely good this year for the lake, never anything huge but this year we caught a 14 1/2 inch 2 and a half pounder. The hot spot to fish this year was in the small little lake called Roberta. With a boat of 4 we nearly caught our limit every day. My whole history going to curlew i have new caught a smallmouth but some friends of ours caught a decent sized smally by the trestles. The trouting was not its usual but there was a nice 4 lber landed on the dock late at night. The same people caught maybe 5 others all in decent size. Right now if you even catch a trout it is big since 150,000 plants of bow vanished due to the muskie? i dont know, its possible but that is way too many to just be eaten in one month or so. The muskie are also doing there job though eating squawfish. I am determined that something is killing all the fish, this last week i have seen many dead fish, even muskie and some of the bass we caught had a weird purple spot on their gill. Its a mystery...

heres the beautiful largemouth we caught
