Today,

Words can’t even describe the action I experienced. This was one of the best fishing days I’ve had on the lake.

Started fishing around 9:45am and bagged a limit by 11. Could it have been earlier? Very easily, but the bites were very subtle until about 10:30. Once the sun peaked, the feeding frenzy began.

Fished near Juanita Beach using a home tied wedding ring in silver and Blue. Dick Nite moon Jelly Dodger. All fish were caught at 45 ft on the wire. I lost about 6 fish in the process of catching my limit. Literally, every time I set my gear down there was a fish nibbling or taking my lure. They are ACTIVE and HUNGRY!

OH SPRING, HOW I LOVE YOUR ARRIVAL.
Tight Lines,

Dj

WOW- Nice going!! Those Lake Washington Cutthroat are huge. I'm guessing all 5 were somewhere around 20 inches and the fact you lost others in such a short period of time just blows me away. I'm going to lay off Lake Sammamish where my luck lately has been poor and I will start fishing Lake Washington. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks Man. Yes, most fish were 18-20 inches. Fat, and full of bait. They are much larger than last year. There are tons of them. I saw multiple schools just like that from 50-100 ft of water.

Great report! The blue and silver wedding ring may be the first I've ever seen. Even better, the home made lure works!

Dont mind at all.. I usually put in at a private park. But that came to an end when the Kirkland parking officer was giving me multiple tickets. So now i launch at my friends house on the Kirkland Waterfront. Its pretty close to Moss Bay
