Possession Bar was good to us Saturday morning. Caught a couple real nice keepers, a beautiful wild fish and the usual shakers, some of which were almost keepers.

Fished the eastside of the bar, outgoing tide, dragging the bottom in 90 FOW. Caught the keepers on the Old Goat 2.8" OG2 blue/black, and Silver Horde King Fisher Lite 3.5" Herring Aide. Wild fish hit on a FlashyFish XT1 for Salmon.

Lines in the water about 7:30 and outa there about 10:30. It was a great morning!

We also fished MA8-2 on Friday. It was tough sleddin. Couple nice wild fish off the northwest side of Hatt Island. It went dead so we went on the hunt. And burn it down we did, Racetrack, Camano Head, Elger Bay, Greenbank, Baby Isl and south side of Hatt. No ceegar. Two wild fish out the get go, about a dozen shakers after that. Creel Count reports seem to indicate we weren't the only ones.

Just for giggles the last couple times out we decided to run some head to head tests just for the heck of it. Old Goat vs Silver Horde vs Flashy Fish. The results were conclusive, THEY ALL WORK! They dont all work all the time which should come as no surprise to anybody but we caught some nice fish on all three products.

Over the last year I have had the opportunity to work with all three companies and I have nothing but good things to say. Good companies, quality products and great people. (and no unfortunately I'm not on anybodys payroll)

Tight lines.
Randy

Great report brother and thanks for the day!

One thing to point out about old goats is they are absolutely great to customize with. The keeper came on a lewis/rauscher custom blue and green herring pattern... MADE FROM NAIL POLISH (thank goodness for mothers, sisters, girlfriends, and wives!). IF you have a hunch that something will work, do it! Experimentation is a key element of success!

They are all great lures!

Thanks again for the day

Sounds like a great day on the water! I wonder if WDFW uses this site for creel counts, every 5 releases count as 1 fish kept....

Because of the tide flow and currents in the saltwater, ignore mph. Focus on maintaining a cable angle of appx 45 +/- degrees (with a 15lb ball) Trolling with the tide you may be going 5mph, against the tide you may be going 1mph but if your cable angle is correct then your gear will be functioning correctly. Angle will also vary depending on how deep you are fishing but the 45 degrees is a good target.
