got on the water around 8 o'clock and had a big takedown within the first 5 minutes. apparently he wasn't real hungry as it was a one and done. put on a fresh bait and cast back out and had a bite again after about 10 min. was thinking it was gonna be a great day in Rufus. it was about 9am at that point. fished until 3pm without another bite. I guess I should have taken the boat up to the pens today! I'll try again soon and keep you all posted.
