I had been waiting all winter to get on some big Brookies thru the ice and this lake did not disappoint. The ice was in fantastic shape with 8" of good ice and mostly frozen slush on top. I struggled to find fish in the early morning hours but as the day progressed the bite only get better. Fish were shallow as is typical for this species.

Ultralite jigging shap raps in perch pattern were the ticket jigged in under 12' of water.

The road up the lake was in excellent shape and could easily be reached with a 2WD vehicle.

Great video as always. My favorite video is still catching kokanee on a Kokanee Beer can dodger and tab lure. Classic!
