I decided to go back to Beaver after digesting a lot of BobTM's tips (thanks a ton, Bob)!
It was a beautiful day, started with a drizzle, but it stopped quite quickly... even a bit of sun came out.
However, there wasn't a lot of luck. I didn't see anyone catching anything and spoke with 4-5 people on the water who also reported not even having a bite.
I am giving 2 stars because we actually lost 3 fishes:
- 2 unhooked while we reeled in, which is likely because I was lazy and didn't replace the trebles on the Maglip i used, and those trebles are probably too big. Will do that.
- 1 snapped a feet away from us. It was a pretty big one, we could see it surface and the line snapped right before the swivel. FIsh was gone... but it was great to have my little kid fight with that one, he was working for it!

I will probably take a break from fishing and do a bit of maintenance on our gear. This is the 3rd time we snapped with a fish hooked, so I will review the rods, put new lines in all reels (8 of them), do some maintenance on the reels, change hooks on spoons and other baits, etc. It is quite a therapy, so I don't mind.

Great Report Alex! Glad to hear of some action....I debated going there Sunday and today.....should have gone today but I saw 10+ winds which of course it never happened.

Trolling? I see Jigs as type of lure.
