Al was able to rejoin the trio today after getting his medical release. We decided to stay closer to home and headed to Potholes in search of Walleyes. Launched at MarDon and headed to the humps and had lines in the water by 8:30. We were throwing blade baits and Rippin Raps in 25-35 FOW. It took about 90 minutes until we found our first fish, the only one that came on a Rippin Rap. Fish #2 by Al was the best of the day, 24" and 6.0 pounds. We spent the next 3 hours on one hump and ended the day with 10 eyes. The weather was great with the water flat most of the day. It was another great day on the water with great friends.
The last picture is my Jerry rigged trolling motor pending arrival of the arrival of my new MinnKota quick release mounting unit. First picture is the 7" crappie inside the 24" eye.
