Took my little Achilles inflatable to Lake Kapowsin this morning. Unbelievable fishing!
I used a wedding ring and some extra weight to get deeper, and nightcrawlers from Harry's bait shop. Caught five trout and they were really fat!!! The smallest was 11 inches and the largest was 14 1/2. After only 1 1/2 hours I had my limit of trout and finished off my time playing catch and realease with the bass. Best trout bite is in the morning when they open up the gate at 6am, but I saw others still catching around 11 am.
