(*Editor's Note - the 5 star rating is for Rufus, not Banks)
Well this report is a total change from my last one on banks just a few weeks prior where we just couldn't keep the walleye off the hook at banks we arrived Friday around 7am and immediately started throwing swim baits without a single bite so we tried throwing shad raps against shore at the north end without a bite and tried trolling with nothing so we packed up and went to Rufus net pens we trolled bottom bouncers out front of the pen while other boats were jigging we immediately starting catching fish after a little while I had to get my buddy the biggest trout of his life and ruin trout fishing for him forever so we rigged up drop shots with just a worm and nailed two 8lb trout and a few 5lb trout then we moved to the end of the pens and drop shot for walleye my buddy picked up 2 fish a 7lb walleye and a 3lb walleye after that we went back to banks and night fished without a bite where as 2 weekend ago we caught 30 walleye at banks I will make the rest of this short Sat and Sun we just decided to fish Rufus out on the flat in front of net pens using bottom bouncers and spinners and killed the walleye we had 8 fish on in the first 30 min that's how good it was as where banks was a bust anyway fishing is great over east right now for walleye so go get em
