I've actually fished Big Lake 3 times between November 18th and December 3rd and caught 3 nice keepers each trip.
Thanks for the posts Fishing Tenor, also Hooks Tackle Box for your reports, made me drag my boat up to this lake I've been past many times but never fished.
I'll defer to Fishing Tenor's report (photos) for the tackle used, I picked mine up at Holiday Sports and had nice success. In addition to the corn, I dragged a worm off another lure and that had consistant action each day.
The weather was terrible two of the three days I was out, literally had white caps at the north end of the lake, so worked just south of the boat launch where it was calmer and found a hot spot working shore to shore there.
More reports to come, just made my profile here, so I'll have more soon with photo's and more details from the many areas I fish.
Tight Lines!

Hey SteeleMan, Great to heat that you found cutthroat and a different hot spot on Big lake!
You mentioned the successful use of corn and worms. Did you use any additional sauce? Any decent sized cutts?

Hi FishingTenor!
No extra scents used, the corn was the Berkley Gulp yellow, but I'm sure other scented may help. I plan on going out again after Christmas with some other scented corn to try that, but for me, I think the worms helped, maybe I'm wrong. I added the corn so that when I had bites and the worm maybe got taken, I was still fishing with something on there. It was rough out and difficult to see the hits so I'm sure I missed a few.
That God's Tooth though is money, I've never heard of it until these postings, and it works! Thanks ElginFishing!
