Great day on Roosevelt out of Hunters for a great event with current and former servicemen of our great country. Thank you for your service that gives us our freedoms and security to enjoy days like this. Huge shout out to the organizers and fellow boat captains to make this event a huge success. Elijah Anderson my deck hand and I were paired with a super great guy. Ryan Springer While we did not turn in the largest fish we however had no issues filling our limits with fat healthy rainbows. I was honored to be apart of this event. Thank you all.

We started with 6 rods. 4 with kokabow spinners. 2 with other tackle. After 90 mins it was apparent the kokabow products were the ticket. We then rigged all 6 rods with kokabow. 4 off down riggers. And 2 off side planners with those amazing blades. Was not long and the 2 surface rods we switched over started bringing fish to the boat. That pretty yellow cold blade with red insert and red beads was our hot color today.

Us they provided the boats had the way job. Those that put it together with the Fallen Outdoors get all the credit. It was a well oiled machine with fillet away fish mats cleaning over 100 fish. The ladies provided a chili feed after.

We had over 17 boat owners and guides like myself turn out

I encourage past and present servicemen look into those types of trips. And if you like to help out. As events like this grow more boat owners could always be needed.

Never heard about an event involving veterans. Can you tell us more and where it was advertised, might be interested in helping next time.

I became aware of it though a Facebook group Eastern Wa Fishing. And a Facebook group the Fallen Outdoors. Every single person I met whom I did not already know were so nice. Volunteers and servicemen and women.
