Beautiful lake with great view of Mt. Adams and well maintained campground. I caught my limit on Friday evening on the shore near the campsite. The best spot is from the "fishing pad" off the trail on the east side of the lake. Caught my limit there 2 mornings in a row within about an hour. I was fishing off the bottom with power eggs, power bait and worms/marshmallows. They were biting at everything. All rainbows off the shore. I'll have to say there were a lot of people fishing and not many catching. However there was a group of fly fishermen (using wooly buggers) in float tubes catching big browns just past casting range from the shore.
