Fished the lake in the midmorning from a paddle boat. Caught a couple of stockers, nothing like last year. My son caught about five fish in ten mins with a meps spinner while I trolled a fly. After he caught his fish he tended my Rod for me while I paddled. After he was tired of catching fish and me of rowing we went back to shore. My son put my rod on top of the truck canopy. I didn't know about this. We drove out the little bumpy dirt road towards town to go pick up some hamburger to bbq. When I got back I realized I didn't know where my rod was. I thought it was still in the padle boat. Come to find out it fell off the canopy of the truck, so if anyone has found a Cabelas Threeforks 6 weight 8'6" rod with a okuma real on it with mint color 6 weight line, its mine and I would really appreciate getting it back. That was the first day that I fished with it, And I didn't really get to use it my son did. The thing that really bothers me off is that we left the boat there with the tent and the bbq so whom ever saw or found the rod didn't even check to see who's it was. Everyone around knew of my son and I and knew where we were camped. I was one of the two people fly fishing the whole lake that day. Anyhow again if anyone found a Threeforks rod with an okuma reel, It would be really appreciated if I was able to get it back.
thanks
