Life as a sportsman and good husband makes for a busy man.
Up at 4:15 to meet up with 3 buddies to hit Roosevelt for some pretty fantastic rainbow fishing.
Home at 5:30 or so and still up to spend some time with my lovely wife. She just left to pick up our daughter from a out of town school event. Should be home about 1:10 am and I’ll likely be asleep seconds later. Ha Ha.
As for Roosevelt. The chunky health bows are biting. Found them to be much deeper today than recent trips. Kokes are extremely rare right now.
Common past colors have been pinks and orange. But today blue was the hot color.
Great day on the water with passing showers to flat out rain. But the wind did not develop while we were on the water.
We headed toward Hunters from Fort Spokane and never saw another boat after we turned the corner from the Casino. Fished as far north as just shy of Hunters.
If ya head out any time soon. Keep changing lures. Speeds and depths till ya find them. They are there. But being funny from normal.
Very little off the surface lures today unlike 2 weeks ago when the surface lures were the ticket.
